Jonah

I believe the story of Jonah stand to teach us as christians, principals and reasons to listen and obey God. First off we as Christians and believers in christ need to learn that if he tells us to do something, just like He told Jonah we need to do it, period no questions asked. We as christians have to realize that even though it looks rough and does not look good from our end, God could be using just small gestures we make to impact peoples lives and actions. Always remember you never know the impact that you might have on somebody, So always let your actions be God honoring, not even allowing the appearance of evil.

The beginning

In the beginning, The word was God. He created the earth, He spoke this entire world into existence. Light was created simply by him saying let there be light and there was. That idea is only something our minds can barely fathom. He created man from the dust of the earth, and all the trees and animals in the garden, He created were all spoken into existence. Just by the words of His mouth, Light comes abounding from within. So think He formed Eve by simply taking a rib from man  and from nothing basically she was created.  So next time you look outside think all this was spoken into being by Him, we are not here by and accident or a one in a trillion chance we were all created in God's image and for a purpose.

God's Story

Gods story should impact our lives in a lot of ways. First off he sent his son to die for us. He cares enough about us to allow his perfect son to die for us. So we should start off our day knowing and thinking about the fact that he allowed someone perfect to die for us to save us. So maybe we should start looking at our Christian lives from a different prospective. Our lives as Christians our short on this earth so as Christians we should allow God to work in out lives. So in conclusion Being short and made after God and bought with a price we should respect him and spread the gospel.

Bible blog

Today for my topic I want to talk about our body as a temple and being an example for God in our actions. In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 it states “ Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” So why do we allow our minds to be filled with garbage and watch movies with sin and we take part in activities that we should not part take in. We are examples for God. We “ were bought with a price” someone dying for us and going through pain should be enough for us not to want to care harm to others and take place in such things.

Just because we are not physically hurting someone, does not mean that we are not tearing him or her down with our words. So how are we being examples for Christ in doing these things? We should do our best to refrain from such talk and such actions and try and go hard after Christ, because we were bought with a price.
